Here is a beautiful vintage necklace in the form of a snake made in 1960 in Birmingham. It is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold with makers mark S&P. The firm that made it was called Smith & Pepper (1899-1981).It is quite rare as all of the others are normally found with ruby not diamond eyes. This piece has beautiful Art Deco style etched details and is set with real diamond eyes. It measures approximately 16” inches in length and weighs approximately 30grams.
